Customer since 2002. There aren’t enough positive words to use to describe the experiences I’ve had at Forest Shadows Pet Resort. But I’ll try to give you the best experiences to keep your heart rest assured that taking your pet here for boarding, play day, and or grooming will have jealous of your pet.

Let’s start with Customer Service, after all without great customer service any business could take your money and smile about it. This place takes it further than your money. Did you know that the owner herself, Kimberly is on the premises? Yea, she is! Because, believe it or not this place is her original home. Yup, before we all knew it Forest Shadows became so popular that she turned her home property into a full time pet privilege first class home for your pets! Her staff, from all the loving Kennel Technicians to her Management team, everyone plays the same role = caring and loving each pet individually to meet each pets needs. No pet is just another pet, their names, personal needs, treats, beds, and toys are labeled and described so that your pet feels at home away from home.

Kennel Rooms: you’ll be jealous of the accommodations offered here. Ask for a tour, anytime, management will gladly have a tour arranged and answer any questions you may have before choosing this amazing place to bring your pets to. And when you decide to go out of town, your pet is so well taken care of that the only thought you’ll have is “well our accommodations and care are not as nice as our pets.”

Playroom/Puppy Daycare: a room for small dogs and a separate room for the big or even big minded dogs. The flooring inside the temperature controlled room is a soft based flooring so that the ruff and tumblers can run their hearts desire without injury from a hard surface. Outside time is limited based on weather; however, the fun doesn’t stop. The Kennel Techs fill pools for the dogs to play in and cool off. They will also get wet with the pups and join in their fun!

Grooming: my personal favorite. I have three huge Saint Bernards and grooming any large breed is a task. But never once has the groomer turned us away or not done a top notch service to make my Saints beautiful!

I know this information because I’ve personally used each service that this facility provides. I’ve kenneled all three saints for two full weeks and because I wasn’t out of town I was able to visit them each day, have playtime with my own as well as others dogs, and even swim with them in the in-ground pool! Yup, there’s even a swimming pool for your pet to have private swim times with a Kennel Tech who swims with them. No pet is ever left alone. No pet is ever unaccounted for. All pets are known by their names by every employee. They personally care for each pet, even those that are scared and/or timid, there is a technician there that can handle every situation.

See I told you I could go on and on. I’ve read other reviews and because everyone at some point has a bad experience somewhere it is unfortunate those that have taken the time to write up a bad review didn’t address their concerns with the owner. She is always available and if by chance she’s not on that very rare occasion, ask for her email address, I personally promise (and I’m just a customer) that she will get back to you. And if she doesn’t, email me, I can assure you that your valid concerns will be addressed and taken care of.

Positive activities, events, care, and compassion take place at this facility everyday. Even if you don’t have a pet or have the need for their services, visit this place. You will leave with a smile!
